Sr Software Quality Engineer

Job Description :

Perform API UI functional and automation testing.

Maintain or develop automation suites using opensource tools.

Build comprehensive and wellstructured test plans and test cases for new features regression testing.

Estimate prioritize plan and coordinate testing activities.

Establish or maintain quality standards to ensure smooth releases.

Identify record document thoroughly bugs perform detailed regression testing when bugs are resolved.

Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.

Collaborate with scrum team in refining user stories sprint planning and test execution.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

4 years of relevant work experience in Quality Engineering

Proficiency in creating and using RESTbased web services and Selenium for UI automation.

Hands on experience in test design and execution based on business scenarios.

Strong communication with ability to collaborate with global teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with testing Kubernetes and containers.

Working experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Solid foundation in objectoriented methodologies & design patterns.

Good knowledge of SQL and DB concepts (MYSQL preferred).

Ability to understand complex enterprise level system various integration points and good understanding of software development lifecycle.

Experience in using test frameworks like Selenium cucumber and post man for API testing.
