Job Description

Title: SR. DEVOPS SWE

Location: Remote

Duration: 12 Months Contract

FINANCIAL/BANKING BACKGROUND A MUST-HAVE

Responsibilities:

  • Manage timelines/deliverables within the team towards the successful delivery of projects.
  • Design software solutions by interacting with portfolio managers, traders, operations staff, and peers to understand requirements.
  • Develop solutions that are in line with the client's technology biases, deliver efficiency and scalability, and enable new trading activities.
  • Provide knowledge transfer to team members and support staff through application demos, walkthroughs, and documentation.

Must have Skills:

  • Over all 9+ year candidate.
  • 7+ years' experience as a DE in IT projects
  • 5+ years' experience as a DevOps
  • AWS Data Engineering Technologies (Expert Level) - Glue, EMR, AWS Lakeformation, S3 as Data Lake, DMS, Aurora Postgres
  • DevOps (Expert Level) - Terraform, Jenkins, AWS Code Build, Ansible, Artifactory, Hashicorp Vault, AWS CloudFormation
  • Data Engineering Technologies (Intermediate Level) - Spark, Apache Airflow, Apache Hudi
  • AWS Core Technologies (Expert Level) - EC2, S3, ELB/ALB, Lambda, EKS, API Gateway, EFS, SNS, SQS, EventBridge, Secret Manager, KMS
  • All these requirements sum up that our client looking for Cloud/DevOps Eg. with experience on AWS Data Eng. technologies.
