Job Description/ Roles & Responsibilities
technical expertise on the tool (SMAX)
technical expertise on similar tools (HP Service Manager Peregrine Service Center Ivanti Cherwell or ServiceNow)
Process expertise (ITIL v3 or ITIL 4) especially in core processes: Incident Change Problem Request
Experience with CIs CMDB logical CIs vs. physical CIs etc
Some coding experience (Javascript shell scripting etc ) Obviously not a direct fit but some principles apply to SMAX.
Specific experience on reporting platforms (Crystal Reports PowerBI Performance Analytics etc )
Basic experience with Windows server administration (i.e. able to log in install software find logfiles restart services etc )
Basic experience with APIs XML REST. Again not a direct fit but some principles will be useful.
Basic experience with Excel Powerpoint etc for documentation presentation etc
Basic experience with troubleshooting enduser issues and leading endusers through stepbystep resolutions.
Soft skills such as customer service and excellent writing (for dealing with customers).
