Position: Senior Product Manager (Multiple Openings)
Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor s Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, Healthcare
Management, or in a related technical field of study; will accept equivalent foreign degree. Experience: Six (6) years in the position above, as Software Developer/Engineer, Research/Business Analyst, Healthcare Consultant, or in a related software development role. Experience must include:
1) Testing software and large dataset analysis.
2) Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
3) Business, functional, and non-functional requirements gathering and documentation, ensuring traceability of the requirements.
4) Leading solutioning, design, and customization of the health insurance product and plan management platform.
5) Leading platform development, including new development integration and configuration
Duties:
Plan, initiate, and manage information technology projects. Define the product vision, creating a product road map. Develop product knowledge. Manage the product backlog by anticipating the needs of the client (through forums with delivery organization, product support organization, and internal brainstorming). Drive the Product Innovation objectives and release content (release notes and product documentation updates) via prioritized features, following Agile best practices. Oversee development stages of the product and take full responsibility for implementation of those. Work with technical team on actionable user stories as needed, and create use cases and map them into business workflows. Responsible for maintaining and updating functional test cases for features and functions per sprint, program increment, and releases. Participate and drive user group meetings and committees. Be the point of contact (SME) for customers and internal stakeholders for questions/requests/issues on the workings of the product. Provide technical oversight, guidance, and leadership to a team of software developers and business analysts. Oversee needs and volumes for the team in order to ensure product delivery and high customer satisfaction. Keep up-to-date on needs across all sectors of the healthcare industry. Prioritize bringing a competitive product to market quickly. Act as a product expert and leader within a designated team.
