Position: Senior Data Engineering (Financial Institute)
An exciting role with one of our Financial client for Senior Data Engineering role to join the team and be based in the Kuala Lumpur office.
Key requirements include:
- Must have experience in Data Architecture.
- Experience in areas relevant to data engineering including data management custom ETL design data mining and data modeling.
- Experience with data science or machine learning environments and good understanding and working knowledge of information security
- Strong Proficiency in SQL including a solid understanding of how to optimise query performance.
- Advanced knowledge in a highlevel programming language commonly used in ETL pipelines such as Python or Scala.
- Experience in using BI tools such as Power BI Power Query Microstrategy Cognos etc.
- Deep handson expertise in Apache Spark (Scala or Python)
- Experience with other Big Data technologies (Hadoop ecosystem Kafka NoSQL databases)
- Familiarity with a full range of data engineering approaches covering theoretical best practices and the technical applications of these methods
- Experience building and deploying a range of data engineering pipelines into production including using automation best practices for CI/CD
