About the role
We are looking for senior API Management Developers to join the Celfocus Software Engineering Guild in Portugal.

As a part of your job you will:
- Analyze design build test and deploy API Management solutions based on business and technical requirements.
- Assume technical leadership role and work with Solution Architects to design amazing solutions; participate in the definition of the roadmap of the solutions.
- Foster API Design best practices across multiple stakeholders.
- Participate in the definition and continuous improvement of API Principles and Practices as well as ensuring they are understood and followed across projects and stakeholders.
- Mentor and lead team members towards a lean culture that values continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the API Management community to ensure a motivated and collaborative ecosystem.
- Promote business continuity by supporting proposals and hiring activities.
What are we looking for
- 5 years of experience designing and developing solutions focused on the API Management domain.
- Indepth knowledge of Google Apigee.
- Indepth knowledge in defining Digital Experience/Engagement architectures.
- Experience in designing and developing APIbased architectures for scalable distributed systems.
- Experience in security standards e.g.: HTTPS TLS OAuth OIDC SAML JWT CORS etc.
- Experience with Caching strategies.
- Experience with Traffic Management strategies.
- Experience in defining and implementing monetization models.
- Experience in modeling APIs with OpenAPI specifications (Swagger).
- Experience in configuring and maintaining API Developer Portals.
- Indepth understanding of transmission protocols (e.g.: HTTP WebSocket TCP UDP ...).
- Indepth understanding of communication standards (e.g.: REST SOAP GraphQL gRPC ...).
- Indepth understanding of product deployment topologies (SaaS onprem hybrid).
- Experience in programming with Java and Springboot.
- Experience in TMFORUM Open framework.
- Experience in Telco Business area (BSS OSS).
- Experience in Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum Kanban etc.
