  • A post-graduate degree
  • 3-5 years relevant sales team leadership and business development management
  • Employee development and performance management skills
  • Ability to analyse and interpret sales, marketing, financial and operational data and prepare business reports, projections, and recommendations

Responsibilities
  • Building an environment of motivation and morale for the sales teams
  • Clear communication of company objectives
  • Assist teams to develop proposals, negotiate terms and conditions, and implement contractual agreements with accountability for delivering strong sales results
  • Ensure performance of sales teams and support their development needs
  • Align perfect plan with meetings of sales team
  • Directing sales peoples focus areas
  • Ensure that all team members plan and prepare meeting schedules accordingly with appropriate alignment to sales focus
  • Generating sales leads and meetings accordingly
  • Drives sales persons to meet the stipulated individual meeting target
  • Communicates sales achievement versus target
  • Coordinate and enforce team movements and time management
  • Identify and escalate development and coaching needs of team members
  • Provide coaching, including product/services knowledge, soft skills and technical training
  • Manage disciplinary issues and poor performance in accordance with HR policy and procedure
  • Reach minimum inputs/outputs for your teams
  • Monitor daily reports and daily calendars
  • Align the Salesforce calendar to the perfect plan
  • Promulgate the requirements as outlined by operational functions
  • Ensure sales teams administrative tasks are up to date
  • Ensure people management documentation is up to date and sent to Sales Director and HR by COB Monday for previous week
  • Report on target attained and team drivers to Sales Director
  • Attend local calls with Sales Director as and when required
  • Assist the Customer Service, Logistics and Refund department as deemed relevant
  • Assist with quality assurance, ensuring all deals are of a high standard
  • Assist Partner Management in ensuring Partners are satisfied and have a sound relationship with Groupon
  • Assisting Editorial with solving inaccurate information/deal information
  • Assist the city planning team as deemed relevant
  • Assist Operations in ensuring that all operational issues regarding the city page runs smoothly and continuously strive for effective methods in doing so
  • Attain monthly city and individual GP/GR targets
