Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Sales and Applications Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide comprehensive product support to our customers. The role involves conducting product application training assisting in sales activities and fostering customer relationships to drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert product applications support to customers offering solutions tailored to their specific needs and requirements.
  • Conduct product application training sessions for customers to enhance their understanding and usage of our products effectively.
  • Deliver compelling product presentations and manage customer sample evaluations to showcase product capabilities and benefits.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to follow up on project statuses prepare quotes and develop proposals for potential customers.
  • Actively engage in customer visits to identify sales leads and opportunities contributing to the expansion of sales coverage and market presence.
  • Assist the sales team in addressing inquiries and resolving technical issues from existing customers ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty to our brand.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Engineering or any related field.
  • Proven min 1 year experience in a technical sales or applications engineering role.
  • Strong understanding of product applications and technical specifications with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish longterm relationships with customers.
  • Proficiency in project management including the ability to prioritize tasks meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Selfmotivated and resultsoriented with a proactive approach to problemsolving and achieving sales targets.

  • Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours as needed to accommodate customer visits and sales activities.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
