- Implement the following activities:
- Strengthen the preparation of results-oriented budgets
- Automate budget preparation
- Train GBD, GFMIS Directorate and targeted line ministries on enhanced budget preparation processes
- Increase citizen engagement in budgeting
- Help roll out of GFMIS
- Support the transition from cash-based accounting to accrual based accounting
- Strengthen audit processes and procedures
- Improve cash management
- Build capacity in line ministries for the development of conceptual frameworks and strategic budget planning.
