Responsibilities:
- Operates medical imaging equipment for diagnostic purposes.
- Knowledgeable and proficient in current breast imaging technique.
- Consistently obtain high quality imaging for Radiologist interpretation.
- General understanding of PACS (Picture Archive Communication System) and its function.
- Documents patient care services in hospital records.
Requirements:
Education: Two year college (Associate’s Degree) Trade or Technical School (Certificate or diploma)
Licensure: State of Maine in radiologic technology
Certification(s): Advanced certification mammography and bone densitometry A.R.R.T preferred
Registration(s): A.R.R.T radiography Mammography and bone density preferred
