QA Manager

Key Job Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement QA strategies policies procedures and
best practices to ensure consistency and effectiveness across projects.
Define quality metrics KPIs and benchmarks to measure and track the performance of the QA process and
the quality of software products.
Team Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the QA team including hiring training mentoring
and performance evaluation of QA engineers and testers.
Provide guidance support and motivation to the QA team to foster a culture of quality collaboration and
continuous improvement.
Project Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with project managers product owners and development
teams to establish QA requirements timelines and deliverables for each project.
Coordinate QA activities and resources to ensure alignment with project schedules milestones and
objectives.
Test Planning and Execution: Oversee the creation of test plans test cases and test scenarios based on
project requirements specifications and acceptance criteria.
Ensure thorough and effective test execution including functional testing integration testing regression
testing and performance testing.
Quality Assurance Tools and Technologies: Evaluate select and implement appropriate QA tools
frameworks and technologies to enhance testing efficiency automation and coverage.
Provide guidance and support for the adoption and integration of test automation tools into the QA process.
Defect Management and Reporting: Establish and maintain defect management processes including defect
tracking prioritization resolution and reporting.
Analyze defect trends and patterns to identify root causes systemic issues and areas for process
improvement.
