Overview:

• This individual will be working between two teams that have historically been java based but lately Python work been popping up between both teams. Right now they have a seasoned developer helping out between both teams so they would like to bring someone in asap.
• Team 1:
  • Online Learning Management Application: this is an coursework filtered through canvas)This involved various integrations through PeopleSoft (and apps like that) which calls for a high level of data flow. The developers need assistance with this.
  • Facility Facing Application. An application that helps with managing multiple businesses and in this case multiple universities. This individual will also support this app which includes keeping up with incoming data from various sources.
  • Team consists of multiple BAs Project Manager Java Developers and an Offshore team.
  • Will be about 70% of the time.
• Team 2:
  • Course tool suit content management .
  • Built a New Application on AWS last year that captures data for grading. Possibly moving which could require integration to build out connections and manipulate data.
  • Team consists of 4 developers offshore QA BA & scrum master.

Development Methodology: team 1 Agile team 2 waterfall

MustHaves (Concepts & Tools):

• Python (Team is using a mix of 3.6 and 3.1)
• TDD
• Basic knowledge of react or vue
• Postgres and/or Oracle
  • If they have SQL that is ok but they need to have Postgres and/or Oracle with it.
• Should have experience supporting multiple teams or projects.
