Nowa Tepro sp. z o.o., with its office and factory in Gdansk, specializes in the engineering, assembly and commissioning of automation systems for the assembly and testing of electric vehicle (EV) batteries, e-motors and other car components. The end customers of our assembly lines and stations include the world s most well-known automotive OEMs and EV battery producers, for whom our team of approximately 60 colleagues has delivered and commissioned assembly equipment all over the world. The destinations where our team gets to travel in order to deliver our products include Poland, Germany, Spain, the UK, China, the US, Canada, Mexico and Brazil.

Since 2022, we are part of the Lyric Robot Group, an internationally leading EV battery manufacturing equipment producer with over 10,000 employees. We aim to build up our engineering and manufacturing capacities together with our mother company Lyric Automation Germany GmbH based in Hamburg, Hannover and Munich.

To strengthen our great team in Gdansk, we are looking for you, immediately or by your availability: Proposal Engineer

Tasks

  • Provide constructive technical solutions and pricing support in the concept phase in the field of EV battery assembly equipment.
  • Support in presenting and explaining proposals to customers.
  • Take full responsibility for assigned proposals, to lead and manage deliver high quality proposals in a timely manner that reflect agreed strategies and are compliant with relevant procedures.
  • Responsible for all aspects including estimate/costing, price, technical and commercial submission documents, contractual reviews, approvals.
  • Interpret customer RFQs, organize production and assembly processes, and program layout drawing design.
  • Implement the customer's individual and technical requirements for the production of EV batteries and provide support to customers in product development and manufacturing processes.
  • Provide technical support to customers, coordinate local engineering team and various technical teams at Lyric China to develop the concepts and solutions together.
  • Assist in communication and docking with internal project managers.
  • Actively liaise with clients for information, clarifications, site visits, negotiations and feedback.
  • Proactively support, carry out reviews and checks of proposal work managed by others.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above, major in mechanical engineering, with relevant experience in electronic engineering and energy storage technology being preferred
  • Experience and technology related to EV batteries (cells, modules and packs)
  • Fluent in English (business accessibility); mastery of other languages (German, Chinese, Polish, French) is preferred
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, MS-Office and other software
  • Good language and multicultural communication skills
  • Responsible, customer first and collaborative work style
  • Willing to travel around the world (50%-60%)
  • High flexibility and resilience to stress
