Project Civil Engineer BridgeStructural

Multistate design firm is seeking a Project Civil Engineer Bridge/Structural for their team in Omaha Nebraska!

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on roadway traffic geotechnical and hydraulic engineers on a variety of projects
  
• Serve as project manager/lead technical engineer on small to mediumsized bridge projects
  
• Prepare planning/design documents
  
• Perform design calculations
  
• Provide quality control reviews for work completed
  
• Manage project scope budget and schedule of projects to meet deadlines and expectations
  
• Mentor/train staff
  
• Assist with business development
  
• Travel to job site as needed
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in civil engineering with emphasis on structural engineering
  
• Master s degree a plus
  
• 5 years of experience
  
• PE License
  
• Ability to become licensed in other US States (through LEEDS or similar)
  
• Proficient with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design
  
• Experience designing prestressed concrete and steel girder bridges
  
• Experience with bridge analysis and design programs (LARSA LEAP Bridge Enterprise Lpile SPColumn MDX).
  
• Experience with NDOT or other State DOT Bridge Projects
