Programmer Analyst 4 RPG / AS400

Jefferson City MO (Hybrid 23 days per week) Can relocate at candidates Expense.
7 months at full time or can be 12 months at 20 hours per week
Interview Inperson preferred; virtual interview if needed.
Our software development team includes offender (inmate) developers.
Working at Jefferson City Correctional Center.

- Onsite work required. This position will work with our existing software development team which includes working at our development shop inside the Jefferson City Correctional Center (see below). Some remote work may be possible after an initial orientation and training period.
- Local candidates or willing to relocate at the candidates expense.
Additional details:
Maintain OPII application including user screen functionality backend databases and subprograms/routines. Tasks include but are not limited to: Add new values to database tables modify screens to include additional fields maintain database dependencies and programmatic rules address any impact or effects of the value changes on any other OPII system functionality i.e. reports or behindthescenes functionality and document/update specifications data relationships and maintenance efforts and findings.
Please note:
Our software development team includes offender (inmate) developers. We have a fully functioning software development shop (not a rehab program) inside the Jefferson City Corrections Center. Our RPG programmer will work with our offender developers in the same manner they would with any other software development team troubleshooting conferring researching documentation analyzing existing code crosschecking work etcEmployment Type
