SAP Data Analyst
Hybrid: Flexibility to operate the majority of the time (if not all) remotely.
Contract: 9 months
Location: United States remote
We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Analyst for an important role within our client's team. Currently our client is in the midst of a transition with S4 Hana set to go live on January 1st. This role involves conducting thorough assessments of financial datasets identifying any discrepancies and anomalies and standardizing data formats to meet SAP S/4HANA requirements. Additionally the position will entail collaborating with stakeholders to enrich financial datasets developing algorithms to detect and eliminate duplicate records and performing rigorous quality checks to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in data analysis with a focus on financial data.
- Proficiency in SAP including S/4HANA financial modules (FI/CO) and key SAP tables (e.g. GL AP).
- Experience with SAP functions for data extraction transformation and loading.
- Familiarity with SAP GR/IR processes and transactions.
- Familiarity with BlackLine or similar financial reconciliation systems preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Essential Duties:
- Conduct thorough assessments of financial datasets to identify discrepancies anomalies and missing data points affecting financial reporting and analysis.
- Standardize data formats codes and naming conventions to ensure uniformity and compliance with S4 Hana requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enrich financial datasets by integrating or resolving missing data points.
- Develop and implement algorithms to detect and eliminate duplicate financial records minimizing data redundancy and ensuring accuracy.
- Perform reconciliation with source systems to validate data accuracy and alignment with financial processes.
- Document all financial data cleansing activities comprehensively including methodologies and outcomes.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance Data Science or related field is preferred but not required.
