Job Description: The Product Stewardship Associate Data Migration supports Product Safety for special projects associated with the acquisition, database management and evaluation of composition, chemical safety information, and other compliance information to support the integration, assessment and regulatory compliance of raw materials and finished products in the Kimberly-Clark product portfolio.

The incumbent reports to the Global Product Stewardship and Compliance Leader. The Product Stewardship Associate Data Migration will select, prepare, extract, and transform existing SAP EHS specification data to support Product Safety record structures in scope of the compliance project. Primary scope includes SAP EHS specifications (PURE_SUB, REAL_SUB, VARIANT, SKU), BOM / compositions, supporting documentation, rule sets and WWI report activities. Additional key responsibilities include review of chemical and/or product regulations and extracting chemical identification information for use in chemical management tools.

The incumbent is expected to develop and maintain a knowledge of K-C systems and tools, specifically SAP EHS, that support stewardship and compliance assessments. The incumbent is expected to apply specialized scientific knowledge, be self-motivated and be able to work independently on assigned projects.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Liaison with the Global Product Stewardship and Compliance team to identify and assess relevant compliance requirements.
Follow standardized strategy for record creation and document review to ensure data entered into SAP EHS is accurate and maintained with high quality standards in accordance with data models developed to support product safety, product stewardship, and chemical regulation compliance.
Summarize compliance data and create output reports.
Provide input to innovative approaches and continuous improvements to the entry and management of chemical, ingredient, raw material, and finished product chemical information.
Additional other responsibilities include evaluating data integrity and completeness, summation of raw material and ingredient properties, composition, and other quality and compliance information, supporting requests for information, and interaction with staff toxicologists and chemical compliance professionals to support various product safety, stewardship, and compliance assessments.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is completed primarily in an office environment. Role is based at a K-C USA staff location. May also consider remote support.

QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Qualifications A Bachelor s degree in chemistry, biology, biomedical or other equivalent technical field and 1-2 years relevant experience.
Strong IT literacy and familiarity with organizing large sets of chemical safety and regulatory data, research/product safety information and the entering of these data into SAP EHS or similar type databases.
Attention to detail with an ability to understand the interconnectivity of data.
Ability to independently prioritize work tasks and adjust quickly to changing project priorities.
Strong interpersonal communication and technical writing skills with demonstrated proficiency in working effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Proven ability to communicate in written and spoken English.
Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in working within SAP EHS database environments
Demonstrated proficiency in working with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, etc.).
Experience with working with chemical safety regulations, and/or product regulations (Cosmetic, Medical Device, Pesticide) globally.
Experience in an organization with product safety and stewardship as a compliance function.
