Overview: We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Product Owner to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and managerial skills within an Agile environment along with extensive experience as a Product Owner in a hightech multidisciplinary setting. As a Senior Product Owner you will play a pivotal role in driving product innovation and delivering value to our customers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field; master s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 12 years of work experience with at least 5 years in a Product Owner role
  • Proven track record of leadership and managerial skills within an Agile environment
  • Prior experience as a Product Owner in a scaled agile environment (SAFe) is preferred

  • Minimal Viable Product mindset with a focus on achieving results within an Agile team
  • Ability to challenge the status quo while maintaining focus on team goals and product direction

  • Capability to maintain a helicopter view of projects and initiatives

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the voice of the customer and effectively communicate the importance of deliverables
  • Own endtoend delivery of team deliverables
  • Manage multidisciplinary team deliverables risks dependencies stakeholders and escalations
  • Communicate priorities of the team backlog and ensure the team understands the significance of their contributions
  • Collaborate with other Product Owners to align priorities and objectives of the team backlog
  • Prepare the team backlog for Program Increment (PI) planning and break down larger work items into smaller ones
  • Work with the Scrum Master to drive the team towards results and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Slice work into smaller valuable pieces in collaboration with the team
  • Ensure the team backlog is properly prioritized for upcoming iterations
  • Define requirements and acceptance criteria for backlog items and ensure the team understands them
  • Maintain focus on PI deliverables and prevent distractions within the team
  • Challenge the team to improve Agile key performance indicators towards greater efficiency
