Identifyopportunitiesfornewproducts
Analyzehowanewproducttiesinwithmarketneedsandconsumer preferences
Setdesignrequirementsbasedonbriefsfrominternalteamsand externalpartners
Researchmaterialsandtechniques
Sketchdraftsonpaperordigitally(forexample,usingCAD)
Use3Dmodelingsoftwaretodesignproductsandcomponents
Produceprototypesandtestfunctionality
Improvethedesignofexistingproducts
Gatherfeedbackfromproductusers
Job Requirements
WorkexperienceasaProductDesignerorsimilarrole
Experienceinindustrialdesign
Creativityinmixingupcolors,shapesandtechniques
Hands-onexperiencewithcomputer-aideddesign(CAD)tools
Excellentknowledge&practiceof3Dmodelingsoftware
Minimumof3-5yearsofexperienceswithdesignprograms(Ex: IllustratorandSketch)
Time-managementskills
Adaptability
BSc/MScinProductDesign,ManufacturingDesignEngineeringor relevantfield
