Infoblox is looking for Procurement Intern for the year 2024. You will join our Procurement team in Bangalore reporting to the Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing. In this role you will be exposed to understanding Procurement team functioning various policies and process collaborating teams. You will focus on training and developing practical experience from the knowledge acquired during academic study. You will be given tasks to complete under the guidance of the appropriate mentor/team member assigned to you. You will work with the global Procurement team and be part of an agile experienced group of inhouse procurement professionals.

What you ll do:
Assist the Procurement helpdesk in understanding business needs and support them to drive closure.
Support category managers on various processes including identifying sourcing opportunities.
Support supplier diversity efforts
Help category managers with sourcing and procurement support when needed.
Ensure Procurement policy compliance throughout the P2P cycle.
Oversee the creation of PRs in ERP system.
Document Legal files and contracts into the contract repository tool
Work on projects of limited complexity in a support role.
What you ll bring:
A degree in engineering
Basic procurement cycle and Finance knowledge
Accounting and accruals knowledge is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with global stakeholders.
The ability to think strategically and work on daytoday transactional issues.
A passion for customer service is desired and an understanding of the importance of CSAT is required.
Proficiency in MS office skills including MS Excel PowerPoint and Word
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English problemsolving skills and presentation skills

After Six months you will...
Gain knowledge of basics of Procurement process procurement team functioning Sourcing process and its importance for an organization in real time.
Develop a strong understanding of our business model and procurement operating categories.
Learn to build crossfunctional relationships with all stakeholders.
Good understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP for entire procurement module.
