The MNA is responsible for the professional and highestquality delivery of health services. He/She provides leadership and supervision to the resident assistants. In the absence of or as directed by the nurse on duty he/she is responsible for the medication needs of the residents. He/she shall provide assistance and personal care to residents according to the residents care plan if needed. He/she will perform these services in a professional manner and with respect for individual preferences of the residents. All responsibilities will be conducted in a manner that is consistent with the Mission and Policies and Procedures of Summerhill Assisted Living.
