Overview:
TekWissen Group is a workforce management provider throughout the USA and many other countries in the world. Our client is the brand name of Deere & Company an American corporation that manufactures agricultural machinery heavy equipment forestry machinery diesel engines drivetrains used in heavy equipment and lawn care equipment.
Position: Parts Coordinator
Location: East Peoria IL 61611
Duration: 30 Months
Job Type: Contract
Work Type: Onsite
Shift: 1st shift hours for training. 1st shift hours of operation.
Note: Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the near future for this position
Job Responsibilities:
- The primary responsibility of these roles will be to measure parts in the warehouse and input the data into our packaging spec application.
- Specific instructions will be provided on what measurements need to be made and how to make them.
- Support offsite packaging operations in projects related to safety quality and productivity.
- Coordinates the resolution of parts problems between parts distribution center factories vendors and dealers regarding parts identification mixed stock defective stock or unshipped orders
- These roles will be working in a warehouse environment and will require all necessary PPE safety shoes safety glasses and gloves. Employees will need to be able to lift parts weighing up to 50 lbs.
Top Must Haves:
- basic Excel computer knowledge
- Decision making skills
- Ability to look at data sets
Requirements:
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Able to drive Cushman (small batteryoperated vehicle similar to a small golfcart)
- Comfortable in high traffic warehouse environment
- Able to be on their feet 70% of day
- Able to use simple software applications
Preferred:
- Associate or bachelors degree in business and/or supply chain but not required
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working with warehouse management systems (SAP)
- Managers open to recent graduates
