Overview:
The Oracle Finance Functional Consultant plays a crucial role in implementing and supporting Oracle EBusiness Suite financial modules. They are responsible for understanding business requirements providing functional solutions and ensuring the successful delivery of financerelated projects. This role is essential in maximizing the efficiency of financial processes and improving the overall financial management within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in and manage the delivery of the Oracle financial modules during Oracle implementation projects.
- Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement.
- Configure the application according to the design decision.
- Design and test the integration with other systems.
- Support the data migration process from a functional point of view.
- Take the lead in understanding new products or new features.
- Applies Oracle methodology and leading practices.
- Demonstrates expertise in delivering functional and technical solutions for complex customer engagements.
- Define the implementation roadmap and produce project estimates with project managers.
- Write business requirement documents and other functionalrelated documentation.
- Identify functional gaps and provide corrective actions.
- Respond to customer queries and concerns promptly.
- Perform daily activity reporting against plans and schedules.
Required Qualifications:
- 515 years of professional experience in Oracle ERP implementation projects as a functional consultant.
- Proficiency in Oracle Financial applications such as General Ledger (GL) Accounts Receivables (AR) Accounts Payables (AP) Cash Management (CM) and Fixed Assets (FA) modules.
- At least 24 endtoend implementation projects experience and involvement in customer requirement analysis configuration preparing the functional design test scripts and assisting the technical team on the clarifications.
