Job Description

Job Responsibility:

  • Examination of all operations and activities in the facility and the production going on in it, identifying raw materials and simple materials down to the final product, as well as waste and hazardous materials, and activating and taking preventive precautions against potential risks.
  • Determining the risks in the work environment, including physical, chemical, electrical, mechanical ... etc. and working to take preventive precautions from them.
  • Analyzing and evaluating the risks resulting from all operations and operations, setting up a preventive system and the necessary solutions to maintain workers, equipment and machinery, and making continuous follow-up for any other new operations.
  • Securing the work environment through the equipment and devices of collective and personal protection missions for the facility and the workers, in accordance with quality specifications and technical bases in their use and work on maintaining them and their effectiveness continuously.
  • Conducting awareness campaigns in work departments through posters, guiding and reading boards to raise awareness and educate.
  • Implementing the plans of training programs for technicians and specialists in occupational safety, environmental health, and securing the work environment and members of the committees, and implementing them on an ongoing basis.
  • Follow up on the daily and every shift inspection of workplaces to identify potential risks and pollutants in the work environment and urge employees to abide by the implementation of relevant instructions and requirements.
  • Preparing work permits before starting any maintenance or repair operations or any other operations that are likely to cause a danger to the safety and health of workers, and taking all measures and precautions to secure the work environment.
  • Recording the impending accident and submitting it to the Director of Occupational Safety, Health and Environment to determine preventive measures to avoid its occurrence in coordination with the representative of the concerned administration and departments.
  • Determine the person responsible for the implementation and the date of its implementation.
  • Preparing an injury report and investigating the accident with each of the injured (if any) and with witnesses on the investigation record form and presenting the accident report to the Director of Occupational Safety, Health and Environment for review and approval by the representative of the Department.
  • Informing the company doctor or his representative and the official in charge of occupational safety and health and the environment about the accident and the location of the hospital and participating in writing a report on the accident and going to the scene of the accident to study and know the circumstances of the accident
  • Ensure the validity of the site or activity emergency equipment on the monthly emergency equipment inspection log and record traffic and inspection observations and assess the position of emergency unit.
  • Making cases of non-conformity and taking corrective and preventive measures for them.
  • Preparing a map of the location of the activity and places of distribution of equipment, machinery, warehouses, activities and environmental, safety and occupational health risks generated or likely to be generated on this map.
  • Coordinating with the directors and heads of departments to study and evaluate the risks of occupational safety and health and the generated environmental elements and to determine the extent of their impact on the environment and the safety of individuals and the facility.
  • Occupational safety and health risks are determined “according to the nature and diversity of the company’s activities” on a form for inventorying and evaluating occupational safety and health risks and defining the environmental elements on the form of inventorying and evaluating the environmental element.
  • Determine business control requirements.
  • Editing a report on the non-conformity of a form and recording it in the corrective actions follow-up record.
  • Analyzing statistics on work injuries, extracting rates, and recording these data in the forms of the Labor Office - Monthly/weekly inspection of the company's departments to verify safety precautions in workplaces.
  • Visiting company exhibitions and applying occupational safety and health procedures. And the work of civil protection reports and its clearance. Work according to ISO 45001 & 14001 specifications and implement them.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree.
  • Obtaining a technical program / occupational safety and health specialist.
  • Get a first aid course.
  • Get a firefighting course Obtaining training for ISO 45001 & 14001
