Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on aluminum components according to engineering drawings and specifications
• Operate welding equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner
• Conduct visual inspections of welded parts to ensure conformance to quality standards
• Read and interpret blueprints work orders and production schedules
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and workflow
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of welding equipment and work area
• Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance welding processes
• Adhere to quality control measures and standards
• Document production and quality records accurately

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as an aluminum MIG welder
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation
• Strong knowledge of aluminum properties and welding techniques
• Ability to use various welding tools and equipment
• Detailoriented with a focus on precision and accuracy
• Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in welding
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent handeye coordination and dexterity
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Physical strength and stamina to perform welding tasks
• Understanding of quality control processes and standards
• Welding certification or relevant vocational training is a plus
