Mechanical Design Engineer

Tasks

The Mechanical Design Engineer is based at our QHE head office in Coventry. You will design for the global automobile & aircraft sectors offering bestinclass automated metal surface treatment process lines. A key contributor to the team effort to continue to exceed customer expectations.

What will you do

• Produce detailed engineering designs and solutions as required in 2D CAD or 3D Inventor ensuring alignment with all stakeholders focusing on customer specifications regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Work closely with project management electrical/software engineering purchasing production sales & R&D in order to achieve a successful project execution.
• Maintain drawings technical file structures and systems in accordance with required quality standards.

Requirements

What do we look for

Experience: A minimum of 3 years as a Mechanical Design Engineer or any similar role where mechanical design knowledge and teamwork are key to success. Ideally in an automation machinery or tool manufacturing environment.

• IT skills: AUTODESK VAULT / INVENTOR is valued not a must.
• Language: English professional level is required.
• Location: Based in the Coventry area.
