We re ready to welcome a detail-oriented and inquisitive professional into our QA department. In this role, you ll work with a multi-disciplinary team to improve product reliability, release processes, and development life cycles.
What we expect from you:
- Ability to read and interpret output and failure logs, and to use this information to correctly identify issues and root causes;
- Ability to determine and correctly categorize test bed issues, application issues, automation wrapper issues, and framework issues;
- Expert knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 operating systems, including the ability to install OS, install drivers, troubleshoot common performance and stability issues, connect to network resources, and follow setup guidance without supervision;
- Familiarity with PC games and gaming platforms (Steam, Ubisoft);
- Knowledge of desktop and mobile PC hardware and common platform failure presentations;
- Experience building your own PC systems is a plus;
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and other ticketing/issue tracking and documentation tools;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Ability to work with global cross-functional teams and coordinate across time zones;
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills;
- Sharp attention to details;
- Ability to work with minimal supervision;
- Excellent independent time-management skills;
- Familiarity with and ability to use common Microsoft Office applications and video conferencing software.
It would be a plus:
- Experience in creating test plans for functional and user acceptance testing;
- Experience with scripting/programming languages, including C#, batch, Python, and PowerShell;
- Familiarity with basic Linux desktop and common commands;
- The ability to identify opportunities to reduce testing time and effort by automating repetitive tasks.
