Managing Director mfd - for a portfolio company

GHARAGE Ventures is looking for a Managing Director (m/f/d) for Amber Island one of the portfolio companies which redefines the way premium whiskey is collected in the 21st century. You will play a key role in driving the companys vision forward and to grow the company and community. Amber Island is a seed stage company transforming the way collectors acquire and experience highend spirits.

Tasks

• Drive the companys vision and build a company for further growth including a strong partnerships communities and desirable products
• Create and implement a comprehensive business strategy aligned with the business and growth objectives
• Responsibility to identify areas for improvement within the existing processes develop concepts to optimize them and implement changes
• Overall financial responsibility including budget financial planning and revenue growth
• Preparation of investor reports as well as preparation and execution of fundraising strategies
• Experience in logistics and order processing is a plus

Requirements

• 3 years experience in a fast moving / highperformance environment such as startups strategy consulting or banking
• Entrepreneurial mindset ability to teach yourself about things and a handsonmentality
• Track record of driving substantial business growth and market expansion
• Strong analytical and structured way of working logical thinking skills and you are able to obtain fast solutions while working independently
• Profound understanding of financial modeling and operations
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and deadlines at the same time is no problem for you
• Strategic thinker with the ability and experience in fundraising
• Excellent communication negotiation skills in English and business fluent in German
• A big plus: experience in spirit industry D2C and/or ecommerce and a passion for whisky
