Logistics Coordinator

*This role works out of a warehouse site in Elwood City, PA.

*Starting wage range is $19-$21/hour depending on experience.

Summary:

This role is responsible for handling the coordination and scheduling of customer shipments as well as all customer questions, requests and specifications pertaining to each order.

Responsibilities:

Use various applications and web-based systems to route shipments.

Work directly with freight forwarders, brokers, and carriers to transport goods domestically and internationally through various modes of transportation (LTL, FTL, DHL, Air, Ocean, FedEx, UPS).

Prepare necessary labels, documents and International paperwork for shipment.

Schedule carrier pick-up appointments and maintain shipping log.

Calculate truck cube utilization.

Review all customer routing guides for compliance.

Complete customer requests for documents and reports.

Qualifications and Experience:

SAP experience is a plus.

Working knowledge of domestic and international freight and logistics functions, including creating commercial documents, SLI s, etc.

Working knowledge of schedule B form, freight class, and incoterms.

Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Good Math skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Suite.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4pm

Over-time as needed.

Requirements :
