Borgess Medical Center is seeking additional providers to join their pool and cover 24 hour in house call.
In house coverage in Labor and Delivery EMR: Cerner Locum required to cover mid wives Locum expected to cover emergency ER cases Typical credentialing timeframe: 6090 days but will expedite. % of high risk deliveries: We do do twins and Vbox and anything over 1500 g and 32 weeks. We dont do anything that requires a tertiary care nicu . Those will get transferred to Bronson or spectrum health. What type of midlevel support Midlevel support will be extremely limited. Nursery level: There is a nursery on Labor & Delivery 18 beds and 1 triage Number of admissions per day: It varies it could be between 34 deliveries per day. There are days that there may be no deliveries. Required procedures They will cover emergencies from the ER which would include suction DNCs and ectopics or ovarian torsion typically. So they would need to have laparoscopic capabilities. Checklist for privileges attached! Provider must meet requirements in order to be considered.
