Position Details Company: Four Season Framing Ltd. Company Location: 11353, Royal Cr, Surrey, BC, V3V 2S8 Position: Iron Worker Job Type: Full-Time; Permanent Salary: $33.00 per hour Number of positions: 2 Start date: As soon as possible Work locations: Various locations in Lower Mainland area of BC as per companys contracts with its clients Travel Information: Willing to travel Position responsibilities Erect structural and architectural precast concrete components for townhouses, and commercial buildings. Install ornamental and other structural metalwork such as curtain walls, metal stairways, railings, and power doors. Assess structures and equipment for defects, deterioration, or non-compliance Place steel units in a position that allows each piece to be hoisted as required. Assemble the steel units in place, align them, and weld or bolt them into place. Reinforce concrete structures by positioning steel bars or metal mesh. Lay out work based on blueprints and specifications. Assemble and erect prefabricated metal structures. As required, dismantle structures and equipment. Position requirements Completion of Secondary School. Completion of apprenticeship program in relevant trade or minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in trade.
