Overview:

The HR Intern plays a crucial role in supporting the HR department with various administrative tasks and HRrelated initiatives. This role provides valuable learning opportunities for individuals interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources by gaining handson experience and exposure to various HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Market Research to understand the domestic hiring market and analyse the data.
  • Assisting with the recruitment process by scheduling interviews updating job postings and conducting initial candidate screenings.
  • Managing employee records and ensuring data accuracy in HR systems.
  • Supporting the onboarding process for new hires including preparing documents conducting orientations and coordinating training sessions.
  • Assisting in organizing and coordinating HR projects and events.
  • Responding to employee inquiries regarding HR policies procedures and programs.
  • Participating in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Conducting research on HR trends and best practices.
  • Assisting with performance management processes including documentation and reporting.
  • Contributing to the creation of HRrelated communications and materials.
  • Coordinating employee engagement initiatives and activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
  • Demonstrated interest in HR through coursework projects or previous internships.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in MS Office particularly Excel Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic understanding of HR principles and employment laws.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
