Health Safety And Environment Manager

Job Purpose

Formulate & establish the HSE guidelines standards and procedures across the project site and ensure their implementation and adherence in order to meet safe and healthy work environment. Also ensure the safe working behaviors with all the projects workforce / stakeholders and meet the requirement of No Injury No Fatality for uninterrupted project execution.

Job Context

This role is responsible and accountable for driving the Planning and Execution of Global HSE Systems fulfilling all Statutory obligations pertaining to HSE standards in the project and ensuring incident free execution of the entire project.

Major Challenges:

Ensuring and adherence to the global safety standards of the organization at the project site. Creating safe working environment to achieve Zero Incidence during the entire project phase till completion. Strong element of the job is to influence personnel at all levels in the project for achieving safe working & safe culture driven environment.

Accountabilities

1. Implement of global HSE standards at project site
2. Safe Working Environment: To ensure Zero Accident & Zero Fire at project site.
3. Training: To promote awareness amongst all employees for proactive approach towards safety at project site
4. Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance of statutory requirements to meet legislative regulations at project site.
5. MIS: Prepare MIS and present to management for necessary actions and information related to HSE at project site

Mandatory requirements

• University Degree in Occupational Health and Safety with a minimum 5 years experiences in Safety Management
• Knowledge of applicable health and safety rules and regulations.
• Experience in evaluating information in relation to compliance standards.
• Have knowledge about ISO45001/OHSAS18001 & ISO 14001
• Have working experience about Safety in Chemical Industry is preferable.
• Fluent in English
