For our latest corporate venture together with a leading auditing company in the mobility/vehicle sector we are looking for a Head of Engineering (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

With our new solution digitalization is entering the repair process after accidental damage to vehicles. Our software optimizes the communication and processing of claims with all parties involved so that after a car accident everything is at best as it used to be.

Tasks

• Planning and monitoring the technical aspects of software development
• Playing a decisive role in shaping the architecture and design of our software solutions
• Ensuring compliance with the highest quality standards in development
• Use of stateoftheart technologies and methods in the area of backend (Nest.js) and frontend (Nuxt.js/Vue.js)
• Promoting an agile innovative and collaborative work culture
• Work closely with other departments to effectively support company goals

Requirements

• At least 10 years of handson experience in software development and at least 3 years in a manager position
• Extensive knowledge of our tech stack: Typescript Nest.js Nuxt.js/Vue.js
• Experience in leading software development teams and fostering team spirit
• Strong strategic planning and project management skills
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
• Proven track record of developing and implementing scalable and efficient software solutions
• Handson mentality
