Head of 2D Video Production

Position Overview:

As the Head of 2D Video Production at fewStones youll be instrumental in shaping the visual landscape of our projects. Were seeking a leader with a deep understanding of 2D animation a knack for storytelling and the ability to guide a team toward unparalleled creativity.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Manage 2D producers assigned to the team
  

• Make sure the team of Producers and Editors follow the processes
  

• Regular daily checkins with Producers and editors
  

• Monitor the teams work and provide feedback to Management
  

• Quality check 2D Animation work including draft/final edits to make sure fewStones is maintaining and increasing our quality of work
  

• Provide guidance and ideas to Producers and editors
  

• Work closely with the other 2D Creative Director to improve work processes
  

• Coordinate with the Ops Manager to monitor the overall workload allocation
  

• Collaborate with the creative director the assistant creative director and producers to create conceptualization pitches for potential and current clients
  

• Attend project kickoff meetings and some sales meetings to make sure you are aware of all project briefs and also connecting with clients
  

• Pitch concepts and ideas to clients during calls and ask all relevant questions required
  

• Grow our production in quality and size and be a company clients can trust
  

• Help HR organize training sessions for editors/producers for professional development
  

• Help sales team to create pitches for larger scale projects for new prospects
  

• Propose ideas to the Producers for new video references helping to expand and build our internal portfolio
  

• Research new trends and complete inhouse projects for future pitching purposes 2D
  

• Take part in the hiring process of the relevant team
  

• Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
  

Requirements

You d be great for this role if you have;

• Proven experience in a 2D Producer Lead Animator Animation Supervisor or similar leadership role.
  

• Indepth knowledge of 2D animation principles and techniques.
  

• Proficiency in industrystandard software including Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects Photoshop Illustrator).
  

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
  

• Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  

• A robust portfolio showcasing previous 2D animation projects.
  

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in 2D animation demonstrating a progression of increasing responsibilities.
  

• Bachelor s degree in Animation Film or a related field.
