Job Description

  • Provide leadership and direction related to all funded projects/Programs from national and international sponsors/funding agencies.
  • Afford all progress reports of accepted funds, process of budget development and analysis, documentations (technical reports, proposals, and related templates), and follow-up with the Grant-Principal investigator (PI).
  • Perform functions of financial administration and reporting with budget continuous follow-up.
  • Follow up all financial/technical reports with the sponsoring agencies and remind PIs before necessary deadlines.
  • Coordinate and work collaboratively with other departments related to grants and within the projects’ deadlines.
  • Develops and update the guidelines of the Grants Office in alignment with the ERP and NU automation processes.
  • Oversee new funding opportunities, the preparation and timely submission of grant applications, application amendments, and budget transfers with related details and templates.
  • Assist in grants related activities and events with proper documentations, archiving and accurate grants database.
  • Professional in reporting (monthly/annually), presentation, and statistical analysis.
  • Update the grants website with news, opportunities, achievements and guidelines

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in accounting or finance
  • Min 7 years experience in grants financial management, finance, accounting, and/or auditing , min 3 years in a managerial position
  • Experience in an educational setting preferred, but not required.
  • Microsoft Dynamics ERP knowledge is preferable.
  • Strong multi-tasking capabilities and skilled at adjusting priorities if necessary.
  • Experience with successful projects managements and respect deadlines.
  • High attention to detail, outstanding time management and organization skills.
  • Excellent in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of administrative tasks & data analysis management procedures, auditing and reporting experience.
  • Communication & Influencing Positively.
