- Work closely with the Governance Director on design and manage grants, subcontracts, training and technical assistance
- Support the Governance Director on governance assessment process for beneficiaries in Syria, ensuring that assessments are done on time, and to the needed quality
- Coordinate the process of making and implementing grants for Syrian beneficiaries to increase their governance capacity in Northeast Syria.
- Develop criteria for assessing the quality and capabilities of Syrian governance institutions and organizations.
- Engage with leadership and partners beneficiaries to support and encourage effective implementation
- Develop new initiatives for governance in consultation with internal stakeholders, Syrian beneficiaries and the client, by preparing technical designs and supporting procurement or grant-making
- Work with the Director of Governance and BRICC TO1 partners to design governance activities and translate them into grants and scopes of work for subcontracts. Provide technical support and technical inputs to the Grants and Contracts team to complete the award of grants and contracts for capacity development activities.
