- Gain a deep understanding of the product at both the user and technical implementation levels
- Engage with and aid stakeholders in developing product vision
- Decompose high-level vision into concrete requirements that are expressed in an actionable standard form (e.g. user stories)
- Conduct market surveys and systematic comparisons of competitor solutions
- Setup and maintain product management processes including managing features, tracking bugs and scheduling releases
