Job Description

Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Greet children and parents and dropoff & pickup
- Supervise class when the Lead Teacher is out of the classroom
- Cover shifts & vacations for Lead Teachers
- Adhere to and act in accordance with Building Kidz mission and values
- Observe the children and respond accordingly to their needs
- Demonstrate knowledge of Building Kidz philosophy and curriculum expectations
- Create a safe nurturing environment where children can grow and learn
- Partner and communicate with parents to educate and inform them of progress daily activities
- Maintain classroom cleanliness and order
- Implement Building Kidz curriculum for children of varying ages and needs
Successful Candidates Must Have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 12 years of experience preferred
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
- Meets education and experience criteria required by the state
- 12 units of ECE or CDA (will consider someone with 6 units and a plan to get the remaining 6)
