Job Title: Front End Developer
Location: Netherlands Amsterdam
Job Type: 6 Months Contract Extension
Work Type: (12 days a week onsite and rest remote)
Job Description
- The FMS Inbound team is working on a mobile application for our coworkers in the store. We focus on the systems that are being used in our warehouses and over 420 stores worldwide. Our systems are being used by over 170000 coworkers and handle 7 million customer returns yearly.
Requirements
Desired skills:
- Feeling very much at home in different ecosystems and programming environments such as React/NextJS Node/Typescript microservices and eventdriven architectures.
- Kotlin/Java and cloud systems experience such as Google Cloud is a pre.
- Dedicated to giving our coworkers the best user experience possible.
- Being part of the full product development process from understanding the problem to designing the solution to delivering and running our products on production.
- Applying and adhering to good software engineering practices. We love simplicity!
- Providing support and guidance as needed to other developers within the development team and encouraging good practices.
- Contributing to the continuous development of standards against and exploring and bringing in modern technologies and tools to boost innovation and development productivity.
- Helping to identify measure automate and use the right data points to improve our overall software engineering process and helping with the business to improve our digital products.
