Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the curriculum standards
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Assess and evaluate student progress providing constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver innovative teaching strategies
• Utilize a variety of instructional techniques to meet the diverse learning needs of students
• Maintain accurate and uptodate records of student attendance grades and behaviour
• Communicate effectively with parents providing regular updates on student performance and progress

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Education English or a related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching English in a primary or secondary school setting
• Excellent knowledge of the English curriculum and the ability to tailor lessons accordingly
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Passion for education and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in response to the needs of students and the school
• Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or willingness to obtain one
