Job Description
Position Name: Senior Operations Manager
Department: ETS
Job Brief:
This is a role for an experienced employee transport operations manager with a deep understanding of the employee transport business and a large network of suppliers. Someone who is not only unafraid to be handson and work from the field but is also tech savvy to operate the latest transport management software from his desk.
About the firm:
NVS Travel Solutions is a 17yearold firm that provides mobility services pan India. In 2023 NVS has scaled to an owned fleet size of 900 vehicles and also has its own inhouse tech team which has been building software solutions for the transport industry for the last 4 years making the future of this firm bright and greener.
Job Responsibilities:
Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs):
- Service pricing & P&L of Large accounts
- Employee Transport service delivery quality standards & process.
- Credit negotiation and supplier onboarding
- Customer Retention and account expansion KAM
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Total revenue and Profitability
- SLA & process adherence
- Performance on regular QC/ audits
- Number of Trips
- NPS surveys
Job Role:
- Interact and engage with clientside stakeholders to
- Understand expectations
- Collect feedback
- Build relationships
- Grow the transaction volume.
- Strengthen Ground teams (from scratch if required) by being handson with sourcing and recruiting activities
- Design Build and Operate MIS for the operations. This might include both quantitative and qualitative data not limited to the abovementioned KPIs.
- Regular data tracking and audits of
- regulatory compliance
- Supplier performance
And other KPIs
- Manage the entire endtoend life cycle of all employee transport service requirements.
- Developing and implementing transportation policies and procedures.
- Analyzing transportation data to identify areas for improvement.
- Resolving transportationrelated issues and complaints.
- Staying uptodate on industry trends and regulations.
PreRequisites:(Interview Criterion)
- 10 years Experience working in the people transportation business in an operations role that involved manipulating transportation software systems.
- Deep understanding of the life cycles of Employee Transportation Service contracts.
- A skilled negotiator and risk manager with experience in overcoming multiple kinds of unexpected challenges in the ETS business and a proven ability to predict and create processes to avoid or identify risks.
- A willingness to work both onsite and from the office to deliver superlative customer success.
- An extreme ownership attitude with an ability to inspire his/her team and lead by example.
