David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading Outsourcing/BPO consultancy who is seeking to onboard a Dutch/Flemish speakingEmergency Services Representativeto join their team in Amsterdam.

Position:Emergency Services Representative

Location: Amsterdam The Netherlands work from home 10% of the time

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver the utmost level of service over the phone to people who find themselvesin a state of criticalemergency or distress
• Asses situation andshare information with precision
• Display great attention to detail while handling several communication tools simultaneously

REQUIREMENTS:

• Native/C1 in Dutch/Flemish both oral and written Fluent inEnglish (at least B2 level)
• Emergency Services/Dispatcher qualification/experience from 6 months onwards is essential
• Proven experiencein emergency response and/or working in ahighpressure emergency communication center environments would be preferred
• Emergency dispatcherHealthcare (Nurse Doctors...) Military Firefighter Police Flight Dispatcher or Security experience
• Active tangible experience for more than 6 months regarding emergency situations with customers especially by phone
• Demonstrated capacity toliaise with customers punctually is essential
• Strong assessing skills with the ability shareinformation with precision as well as to displaygreat attention to detail while handling severalcommunication tools simultaneouslyis essential for this role
• Prior experience working with aCAD (computer assisted dispatch) application would be considered as a strong advantage
• Full working proficiency withMS Office is necessary
• Sound knowledgeof laws protocolsand compliance within an emergency services environment is preferable
• Agility with rotatingscheduling which can include days nights and weekends as thiswill be a 24/7 operation with 5 days on and 2 days off per week
• Holder of a recentin a CPR certification can be an advantage
• Any prior experience in emergency fire orpolice dispatch will be considered as beneficial for this role
• An ability to work from home about 10% of the time is required.
