Position Title: Construction Manager Renewable Energy

Job Description:

Overview:

As a Construction Manager for our esteemed renewables company specializing in wind farms you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the construction activities of our wind farm and solar projects. You will lead a team of professionals and work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects within budget schedule and safety parameters.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Scheduling:

Develop detailed construction plans and schedules in collaboration with project managers and engineering teams.

Coordinate with subcontractors vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

2. Site Management:

Oversee all onsite construction activities ensuring compliance with safety regulations environmental standards and project specifications.

Monitor progress resolve issues and implement necessary changes to keep construction on track.

3. Team Leadership and Coordination:

Lead and mentor construction teams including site supervisors foremen and laborers to ensure efficient and effective project execution.

Foster a culture of safety quality and teamwork among all project personnel.

4. Budget and Cost Control:

Manage project budgets and expenditures tracking costs and identifying opportunities for cost savings.

Review and approve subcontractor invoices and change orders in accordance with project budgets.

5. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

Implement quality control measures to ensure that construction activities meet industry standards and project requirements.

Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any noncompliance issues.

6. Stakeholder Management:

Liaise with clients regulatory agencies and local communities to address concerns obtain necessary permits and maintain positive relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Communicate project progress milestones and challenges to internal and external stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or related field (Masters degree preferred).

Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management with a focus on renewable energy projects particularly wind farms.

Proven track record of successfully managing largescale construction projects from inception to completion.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve project goals.

Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of relevant industry regulations codes and standards.

Certification in construction management (e.g. PMP CCM) is a plus.
