Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our company. As the Accounting Manager you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of our diverse portfolio of properties. This position requires a strong background in accounting exceptional leadership skills and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the accounting team responsible for accounts payable accounts receivable payroll and general ledger functions.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements budgets forecasts and variance analysis.
  • Coordinate monthend and yearend closing processes including reconciliations accruals and financial audits.
  • Monitor cash flow budgets and financial performance metrics providing insights and recommendations to management.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations internal controls and company policies related to accounting.
  • Collaborate with operational departments to optimize revenue recognition expense management and cost controls.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline accounting processes enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
  • Supervise and train accountants and accounting clerks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or related field; CPA designation preferred but not a must.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
  • Indepth knowledge of hospitality accounting principles including revenue recognition cost control and expense management.
  • Proven experience in supervising accounting teams and managing financial operations.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to analyze financial data and identify trends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Leadership abilities including the ability to motivate and mentor team members and drive results in a fastpaced environment.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Integrity and ethical conduct in handling sensitive financial information.
