Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for a Permanent fulltime CT/Radiologic Technologist. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Alamosa CO 81101

Assignment Start Date: 3/1/2024

Shift: FullTime Shift Varies at Conejos County Hospital PRN at San Luis Valley RMC

Salary Range: $60000.00 to $87110.00

The salary range displayed represents the typical salary of candidates hired. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below the midpoint of the range.

Sign On Bonus: $10000.00

Relocation Bonus: $10000.00

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Following prescribed techniques in performing procedures such as adjusting equipment; determining proper voltage current and desired time; arranging immobilization and support devices; adjusting lead shielding; and selecting proper film.
  • Cleaning xray room and equipment daily.
  • Performing call assignments as needed.
  • Performing quality control tasks and maintaining quality control reports as required specific to the procedures performed.
  • Performing general office duties such as scheduling answering phones filing and scheduling of incoming patients as necessary.
  • Performing diagnostic testing and general maintenance on equipment.
  • Moving equipment into specified positions preparing room contrast material and other materials needed to perform procedures as needed.
  • Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

  • Thorough knowledge of radiological equipment techniques and procedures
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in the field of Computerized Tomography with CT certification.

Education: Completion of formal radiological technologist training in an AMAapproved training program.

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

  • ARRT Registered
  • MRI is preferred but not required.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to read analyze and interpret professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports correspondence and/or policy and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers customers including the public.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions percentages ratios and proportions to practical situations
  • Ability to apply and carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
