- Advises and provides support to the Director in planning, developing, analysing, communication, enhancing understanding of and overseeing strategic security management concepts, policies, guidelines, and compliance;
- Acts as a Deputy Director of the SRMD and therefore is appointed as Officer in Charge (OIC) during the Directors absence;
- Leads the development and prescriptive content, facilitating the development and maintenance of the SRMD SharePoint and security practice network;
- Liaises, consults, facilitates, and maintains ongoing relationships with programmes ensuring security integration into programmatic activities; liaises withbodies on policy and governance;
- Develops Annual Security Workplan to be reflected in the annual compendium of new revised policies and procedures. Leads the process of regular review/revision of extant security policy documents and frameworks;
