We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager having digital marketing / advertising BD / Sales experience of minimum 5 years from digital marketing / advertising / media agencies which will help us to expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships to achieve the financial goals set in terms of revenue targets and gross margin targets on a month on month basis.
Requirements
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration.
- Identify new business opportunities and lead the sales team in acquiring new clients.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and effectively manage the sales cycle
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients advertising agencies and media buyers.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored advertising solutions to meet their objectives.
- Monitor market trends competitor activities and industry developments to identify opportunities for business growth.
- Prepare sales reports forecasts and analyses to the senior management team.
- Make recommendations for sales strategies and process improvements based on market insights.
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams including marketing editorial and operations to ensure seamless execution of advertising campaigns.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and aftersales support
- Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople
- Must have at least 5 year of experience in digital media sales advertising & branded content
- Demonstrated experience in scaling up business operations
- Prior experience as profit centre head is desired.
- Seasoned and successful leader preferably with experience in a major & complex industry or organization in a competitive market segment.

Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and inspire a team of writers, reporters, and contributors to produce high-quality content for digital and print platforms. Develop and execute an effective content strategy that aligns with the brand's objectives and resonates with our target audience. Plan, assign, write, and edit articles, features, and daily online news stories, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to the brand's editorial standards. Stay updated on industry trends, news, and developments to ensure the brand's content remains timely and relevant. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including industry experts and partners, to enhance content quality and coverage. Ensure the timely publication of content across various platforms, including the brand's website, social media channels, and print publications. Monitor and analyse content performance metrics to make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and professional growth. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field. A minimum of five years of editorial experience, prior experience in B2B publishing is preferred. Required Skills: Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills. Strong editorial skills including editing, proofreading, and fact checking. Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and visual aesthetics. Excellent organisational and project management skills. Proficient in using editorial software and tools.
