About The Role
We are seeking to hire a Business Development and Marketing Manager who will play a pivotal role in driving the growth trajectory of our client firm.Your efforts will be vital in maximizing our market presence and dominance and revenue generation all while contributing to our mission of improving sanitation solutions in underserved communities.

Responsibilities
Business Growth Strategy
  • Develop comprehensive strategies to drive business growth identifying potential markets partnerships and avenues for expansion.
  • Lead the implementation of growth initiatives leveraging your insights and expertise to guide the organization forward.
Customer Acquisition and Expansion
  • Drive customer acquisition efforts identifying and cultivating relationships to expand our client base.
  • Develop and nurture strategic partnerships to facilitate mutual growth and value creation.
Marketing and Sales Leadership
  • Lead marketing and sales teams and activities guiding them in crafting effective campaigns promotions and customer engagement strategies.
  • Ensure marketing efforts are aligned with organizational objectives and effectively communicate our value proposition.
Market Analysis and Insights
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends competition and customer preferences.
  • Utilize insights to refine marketing approaches and inform strategic decisions enabling us to stay ahead in a dynamic market.
Revenue Maximization
  • Collaborate with finance and operations teams to set revenue targets and develop strategies to achieve them.
  • Develop and manage revenue generation initiatives continually seeking ways to optimize profitability.
Stakeholder Relationships and Proposals
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders clients and partners to facilitate collaboration and business growth.
  • Represent the Organization at industry events and forums enhancing our brand presence and networking reach.
  • Lead the development of proposals and presentations to nurture business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals.
Operational Efficiency
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally to ensure smooth execution of business initiatives and align marketing and sales efforts with operational efficiency.
  • Drive operational improvements that enhance productivity and contribute to overall organizational success.
Team Leadership and Development
  • Lead and mentor marketing and business development teams fostering a culture of innovation collaboration and results.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Undertake other duties and projects as necessary to contribute to the success of the business development marketing and operations team and the organization.


Requirements

Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent degree in business marketing or related fields.
  • Successful track record in B2B B2C B2A GOs/Nonprofit organizations and educational institutions.
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in growth and business development with sales and marketing techniques customer relations and research and development.
  • Proven experience with developing growing and managing commerciallyviable products and services and partnerships and sales management.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in forecasting and budgeting.
  • Proven ability to plan and manage resources and processes and think creatively and strategically with excellent organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations.
  • Experience writing proposals grant applications and responding to tenders.
  • Have strong ethical principles; be goaloriented selfdriven and conscientious.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to guide and motivate teams.
  • Proficiency in tools for example for CRM marketing automation data analysis and reporting scheduling and task management (e.g. Zoom Google Calendar HubSpot Marketo Microsoft Office or equivalent) and in digital marketing strategies and tools (e.g. Google Ads Google Analytics Canva or equivalent).
