Back-end Developer

We are looking for an experienced Backend developer to join our IT team. Working behind the scenes the ideal candidate will have a unique blend of technical expertise insatiable curiosity and analytical mindset. Responsible for the server side applications as backend developer the responsibilities include creating maintaining testing and debugging the entire back end of an application or system. This includes the core application logic databases data and application integration API and other processes taking place behind the scenes.

If you have excellent programming skills and a passion for developing applications or improving existing ones we would like to meet you. As a Backend developer you ll work closely with our engineers to ensure system consistency and improve user experience.

Ultimately you should be able to develop and maintain functional and stable web applications to meet our company s needs.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle focusing on coding and debugging
  

• Write clean code to develop functional web applications
  

• Troubleshoot and debug applications
  

• Perform UI tests to optimize performance
  

• Manage cuttingedge technologies to improve legacy applications
  

• Collaborate with Frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements with server side logic
  

• Gather and address technical and design requirements
  

• Provide training and support to internal teams
  

• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  

• Liaise with developers designers and system administrators to identify new features
  

• Follow emerging technologies
  

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Backend developer
  
• Indepth understanding of the entire web development process (design development and deployment)
  
• Mandatory Platform: Jenkins
  
• Working knowledge of Maven Jfrog SonarQube Veracode GitOps Ant Gulp Grunt Bower or NPM FullStack Spring Boot Spring Batch JSP CI/CD tools Camel (CXF) AEM Forms/Sites TeamSite WebLogic Portal will be an advantage.
  
• Mandatory Handson experience with programming languages like Unix Shell scripting Java
  
• Familiarity with Spring JavaScript React XML SQL CSS
  
• Familiarity with OS: HPUX Linux Solaris
  
• Excellent analytical and time management skills
  
• Teamwork skills with a problemsolving attitude
  
• BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field
